Nickolas Praulins, Head of Primary School
Nickolas has had experience working across various geographies at both the Primary and vocational-education levels. He began his teaching career in Australia in 2006, and taught at schools in both Adelaide and Melbourne. In 2010, he moved to Johannesburg, South Africa, taking on Head of Grade, Director of Thinking Skills and Director of Marketing roles. While in South Africa, he also coordinated the development of a number of literacy and numeracy resources, endorsed by the South African Department of Basic Education, as well as authoring a weekly educational supplement for The Star national newspaper. In 2015, he moved to Frankfurt and was the Service Manager at Wall Street English before joining the Phorms staff in 2016. He has been the Head of Primary since September 2017.
Jasmin Mendez, School Assistant
Jasmin Mendez is a Foreign Language Assistant. After her 1 year abroad in the USA she worked in the field of Sales and Human Recourses. In her last position she was employed as an Executive Assistant/Office Manager at a Financial Service Provider. Since 2016 she is responsible for the front office organisation of the Phorms School Frankfurt City Campus.
Jhon Forero, Operations Assistant to the Head of Primary
Jhon holds a Bachelor´s degree in English Teaching. He completed his practicum year at a school in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. For five years he taught English as a Second Language at different institutions in Colombia. He broadened his international teaching experience in the position of Foreign Language Teacher at a state school in London, United Kingdom. Jhon joined Phorms City Campus in 2016 as the School Building Substitute. In 2017, he became the Operations Assistant to the Head of Primary.
Victoria Mason, Extra Curricular Coordinator
Victoria Mason studied Biomedicine in England. For six years she led the procurement team of a civil engineering company. Victoria joined Phorms City in 2015 part time as a Hort Supervisor whilst also learning German, then moved on to becoming a teaching assistant in 2016. Victoria has been the Extra Curricular Coordinator since August 2017.
Allison Mills, Dean of Student Welfare
Allison Mills graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor Degree in Primary Education in 2013. During her studies, Allison specialized in Special Education, and how to differentiate for student success. Allison started her teaching career at the Phorms Josef Schwarz Schule in Erlenbach, Germany as a Reception teacher. To further her professional development, she moved to Phorms Frankfurt in August 2015. She taught Grade 2, before moving up to Grade 4 as the Year Leader. Allison holds additional qualifications in English as a Second Language, Kindergarten (Reception), Mathematics, Student Assessment and Evaluation, and Teaching Students with Behavioural Needs. Allison has been Dean of Student Welfare since December 2017.
