Welcome & Willkommen
to Phorms Frankfurt

Our bilingual private school welcomes your child into a vibrant German-English community, with campuses in the lively Holzhausen district in Frankfurt and the green surroundings of Steinbach in the Taunus region. As part of the nationwide Phorms network, we have been dedicated for over 15 years to bilingual education, full-day learning, and fostering curiosity and a love of discovery. From kindergarten through to secondary school: one seamless learning journey.

The start of a new school year is near, and we’re looking forward to an inspiring time together.

At our school, every child grows up in a world full of possibilities. We guide them on a journey of growth in academics, language, culture and confidence. Bilingualism is an essential part of this journey. It opens doors and builds bridges to a world without limits."

Why families choose Phorms Frankfurt

Bilingual - from Kindergarten to Abitur

At our school, your child experiences language immersion naturally – every day, in and outside the classroom. All subjects are taught in both German and English by native-speaking teachers who guide and support them along the way. Through the continuous and authentic use of both languages, your child gains the confidence to communicate fluently – in speaking and writing – by the time they complete their school journey.

Skills for the future

At Phorms, children and young people develop important skills that prepare them for the future. Project-based work, critical thinking and creative problem solving are just as much a focus as social skills and personal development. The safe and reflective use of digital media is also an integral part of everyday school life – for confident and responsible participation in the world of tomorrow.

Attractive locations and modern facilities

Whether situated near Holzhausenpark in the heart of Frankfurt or surrounded by the greenery of the Taunus hills in Steinbach, both Phorms Frankfurt campuses impress with their prime locations and contemporary, well-equipped classrooms.

From kindergarten to graduation: everything on one campus

We accompany your child seamlessly from kindergarten to secondary school. You save yourself the time-consuming and often nerve-wracking search for a suitable school for each educational level. Your child will grow up in a familiar environment, develop stable friendships and benefit from a consistent educational concept that provides individual support and challenges - bilingual, modern and with your child in focus.

International mindset and open culture

Our school is known for its warm, family-like atmosphere where every child feels safe and welcome. At the same time, we embrace internationality and foster open, respectful collaboration. True to our motto: Local Schools – Global Education.

Individual support for personal development

At our school, your child takes centre stage – with all their unique talents and needs. Our experienced teachers and educators provide dedicated and sensitive support tailored to each child. Small class sizes, a high staff-to-student ratio and the support of teaching assistants in our Primary School with Reception create a learning environment that recognises and nurtures each child’s individuality.

All-day learning and living in community

At the Phorms Frankfurt Campus, children and young people grow up in a supportive whole-day community that is there for them from morning to evening. When needed, we provide care from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., offering a reliable framework for learning, playing and socialising. As part of our varied afternoon and holiday programme, children have the opportunity to express their creativity and explore new interests. Our spacious, modern campus features well-equipped facilities for science, sports and music – creating the ideal conditions for holistic learning and personal development.

This is what people value about Phorms

Maike T., mother of two Phorms children

"At Phorms, children are seen as individuals which really strengthens them emotionally. I am convinced that emotionally confident children are less likely to be bullied and grow up to be kinder people."

Christiane H., mother of a Phorms student

“I recommend Phorms to anyone with children not just because of the bilingualism but also because there are no cancelled classes, the school offers great opening hours and you are always in direct contact with the teachers.”

Sabine L., mother of a Phorms student

"What always sets Phorms apart for me is the whole-day care. I think that makes everyday life much easier for many parents. I know my child is at school at 9 a.m. and stays until 4 p.m., has activities, gets a proper meal, quality lessons and breaks. He enjoys being there and he is always learning something new.”

Hermes, 14 years old

“What matters most to me in a school is feeling comfortable and wanting to go. At Phorms, I like the whole package.”

Benny, 13 years old

“What I love most about Phorms is how much English we speak. It is not just classroom English we also learn everyday expressions and idioms.”

School mobility
Travelling safely to school in the Taunus

School mobility: Safe and flexible travel to school

Our school in the Rhine-Main region is easily accessible from all directions. Children can travel safely and conveniently using a variety of transport options such as public transport, carpooling or individual drop-off and pick-up.

Our Phorms school buses on four routes

We offer reliable school bus connections from Frankfurt, Kelkheim, Eschborn and Bad Homburg directly to our campus. As a complement to local public transport, our four dedicated bus routes operate from fixed pick-up points and bring children safely to the Taunus Campus each morning. After the school day, the buses return them to the same locations, providing families with a convenient and structured mobility option.

With public transport right to our doorstep

Thanks to our dedicated ‘Taunus Campus’ bus stop, our school is directly connected to the local public transport network. Buses from several directions stop here regularly, making it easy and convenient for children to travel independently to and from school. We also actively encourage children to form travel groups with classmates, promoting both responsibility and a strong sense of community.

Individual shuttle services with our trusted transport partners

For many years, we have partnered with two reliable local providers – Fahrdienst Rhein-Main and Kleinbus Reich – to offer flexible and individual shuttle services to and from our campus. These minibuses provide a convenient and safe travel option for children whose routes are not covered by public transport or our school bus service.

Individual arrival by bicycle or car

Our campus can be easily reached by both bicycle and car. Bicycle racks and a car park are available on site. To reduce car traffic and promote road safety and sustainability, we regularly organise special awareness events. Clearly marked drop-off zones and an increasing number of alternative transport options help to streamline traffic and ensure a smooth arrival and departure for all families.

Do you have any questions?
We are happy to answer.

  • Can my child transfer from a public school to your school at any time?

Our teaching follows the Hessian curriculum, so a transfer in either direction is possible at any time, depending on the child’s language skills.

  • Where do the English-speaking teachers come from?

Our teachers come from a wide range of English-speaking countries around the world.

  • Which school leaving certificates do you offer?

As a state-recognised school, we offer the Abitur as the highest school-leaving qualification. Students can also achieve the Realschulabschluss and the Fachhochschulreife at our school.

  • Can gaps in foreign language skills be made up?

A transfer from a public primary school to our bilingual secondary school is possible if the child already has considerable exposure to English beyond basic primary school lessons. Our many years of experience at various internationally oriented schools show that children’s language skills generally develop well, provided they are motivated.

  • We live abroad but plan to move to Germany. What is the admission process for my child?

For families still living abroad who cannot attend trial days in person, we offer an alternative admissions procedure tailored to this situation. This ensures a smooth enrollment process for international families. Please contact our Admissions Team for further information.

We are happy to help you.
