Phorms Steinbach was able to hand over a donation of 800 euros to the "Christmas differently?!" project just in time for the festive season. The amount is the proceeds from the Phorms stand that the school traditionally has at the Steinbach Christmas market. This year, the school once again sold cookies, self-designed greetings cards and calendars for a good cause. Donations for "Christmas differently?!" were also collected at the wheel of fortune, which has been popular for years.
The campaign, organized by the Catholic parish of St. Bonifatius in cooperation with the "Soziale Stadt Steinbach" and the "Time for us" women's meeting place, ensures that people do not have to spend Christmas Eve alone. According to the organizers, the number of participants in "Christmas differently?!" is increasing from year to year.
This year's donation is the highest that Phorms Steinbach has ever been able to hand over. After donating to a project in Namibia in 2016, a sum of 600 euros went to the Steinbach project in 2017 and 700 euros in 2018.
