Phorms Taunus Campus benefits from timetable changes

We are very pleased to announce that we will have even better bus connections to our Taunus Campus from 10.12.2018 with the start of the winter timetable. The Verkehrsverbund Hochtaunus (VHT) and the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund (RMV) have been able to optimize the connections.

Until now, bus route 251 (Nordwestzentrum - Kronberg) has only served the campus from Steinbach. In future, the Kronberg direction will also be served both at the start and end of school, with a transfer in the morning and a direct service in the afternoon. This will benefit children living in Kronberg and Oberhöchstadt in particular. The Hochtaunus towns of Königstein, Oberursel and Bad Homburg are now also connected by bus with a change from/to bus route 261. For further information and the exact times, please refer to the overview or the route map.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Ms. Isabella Rau from the Steinbach travel agency Kopp, who has tirelessly campaigned for Phorms with the public transport company to improve the public transport connection from the north. We hope that this will encourage more children to switch from private transport to the bus. Walking to school together with classmates boosts self-confidence. In addition, increased use of public transport will reduce traffic congestion for Steinbach residents and is more environmentally friendly overall.
