On Friday, February 14, the final of the first 2nd year reading competition took place in our auditorium.

In the weeks leading up to the final, the three best readers in each class were determined by the German teachers and their TAs after a voluntary registration period. The first two places were allowed to take part in the final.

On the afternoon of the competition, the six finalists stood on stage with their prepared texts at 2:15 p.m. on the dot and were greeted with motivating applause from their classmates. The jury, consisting of our primary school principal Ms. Simon, German coordinator Ms. Lafko and pedagogical assistant Ms. Hartmann, was impressed by the good reading performance of all participants. However, the final winners were determined by reading the unknown text.

The happy winners (1st place Sharwi Mulay (2f), 2nd place Tanay Bharadwaj and 3rd place Elia Hannes (2e) were beaming with joy when they received their certificates and were applauded once again.

But the most attentive listeners also received small tokens of appreciation for the respect they showed.
