With effect from 01.08.2020, our upper secondary school (Sek. II) at the Taunus Campus has now also received state recognition from the Hessian Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs.

Our Head of School Gabriele Schorn and the entire teaching staff are delighted about this important milestone: "The recognition of the upper school is an important step for our Phorms Taunus Campus. In future, we will be able to support our sixth form students directly on campus until they take their final exams and assist them with our teachers. We are confident that the state recognition will lead to more students taking the path to the Abitur at Phorms. I would like to congratulate everyone involved on this truly wonderful success and look forward to seeing our future A-level graduates."

Our Frankfurt elementary school and secondary school have been recognized for some time now. What will change for us now? The state recognition of the upper school gives the school the right to hold examinations and issue certificates in accordance with the regulations that apply to public schools. Previously, it was only possible at the Taunus Campus to hold a so-called external Abitur or a non-pupil Abitur examination. The recognition of the Secondary School II now certifies that the Phorms School Frankfurt permanently fulfills the requirements of an alternative school, can independently train teachers in the context of traineeships and continues to guarantee a high level of teaching.

A big step forward for us!
