In the photo slideshow you can now see how our planted willow has already opened its first catkins and is eagerly awaiting the first bee.
Our second graders have diligently planted the forage flowers they brought with them. The plants were carefully removed from their pots. They then dug a deep hole, carefully embedded the plants in soil and watered them with rainwater. Everyone had a lot of fun.
At the end, everyone could admire how beautiful the beds now look. We look forward to the busy buzzing and humming of the wild bees in our little garden paradise!
A big thank you goes to the parent representatives of the year two classes for making this wild bee project possible for the children!
