We are happy that you are considering enrolling your child at our Primary School. We regularly welcome new children in the first years as well as in higher year groups. It is possible to start during the current school year if places are available.

Our admission process
for Reception and Year 1

1. Non-binding online registration

To register your child, please complete our online registration form. Once submitted, you will receive an email confirming that we have received your application.

2. Getting to know each other

We look forward to a mutual introduction and to answering any questions you may have. You will have the opportunity to visit our facilities and gain insight into the educational concepts and care models at Phorms. To get to know your child better, we invite them to spend a morning with us, during which they will complete simple tasks. This allows us to form an initial understanding of your child’s age-appropriate development.

3. Our space offer to you

We will inform you by e-mail about the availability of your desired school place. Once you decide to enroll your child with us, you will receive the school contract. When we have received the signed contract from you, this means: Welcome to Phorms Primary School!

Newcomers are very welcome

If there are places available, we will organize trial days and a parent meeting at short notice so that we can get to know each other. Please feel free to contact us. We offer an alternative admission procedure for families who are still living abroad and are therefore unable to arrange trial days on site."

We want as many children as possible to benefit from our educational programme. That’s why we have chosen a model with income-based parental contributions. The monthly tuition fee is calculated based on the family’s total annual income.

Registration and Costs
for our Primary School

  • 1. Admission fee

    Once the contract is signed, a one-time administration fee is charged. This amounts to 2.5 times the monthly parental contribution.

  • 2. Monthly tuition fees

    We want to give as many children as possible access to our educational programmes and have therefore introduced income-based parental contributions. These contributions are calculated based on the gross annual income of the parents or guardians from the penultimate calendar year before the school year begins. You can use our contribution calculator to determine the monthly parental contribution.

  • 3. Lunch costs

    All Phorms students take part in the school lunch, which is prepared on site. The monthly fee for this is €119.50.

  • 4. Material costs

    Learning materials are provided by the school. We charge an annual fee of €50 per student for this.

  • 5. Early morning care, daily 7:30 to 8:20 / City until 8:30

    We offer early morning care for our students. You have the option of either booking a fixed monthly fee of €60, paying a single visit of €7.50 or purchasing a 10-visit pass for €60.

  • 6. Afternoon programme

    After-school programme in the afternoon can be booked at any time. You can choose individually how many days a week your child would like make use of the after-school programme. (1 day/week: €45/month | 2 days/week: €90 /month | 3 days/week: €135/month | 4 days/week: €160/month | 5 days/week: €180/month | day attendance: €20/month | 10-visit pass: €150/month)

  • 7. Holiday programme

    During the school holidays, we offer an extensive holiday programme for Phorms students as well as external children. The German-English holiday camps are aimed at children between the ages of 5 and 12.

  • 8. Please note these other costs

    During the school year, expenses will be incurred for the purchase of school clothing as well as for class trips and excursions.

  • 9. Sibling discount

    If you would you like to enroll several of your children at our school we will grant you our sibling discount. The second child receives a 20% discount on the parental contribution. The third child receives a 40% discount and from the fourth child you receive a 60% discount. The minimum contribution per child is €99/month.

  • 10. Payment modalities

    Parental contributions, lunch fees, school bus and early morning or after-school care are to be paid in 12 monthly installments. All fees are collected by direct debit in advance on the first working day from the specified account. At the same time, an invoice with a breakdown of the fees will be sent by email.

  • 11. Tax deductibility

    The parental contributions may be deductible as childcare expenses in the amount of 2/3 of the expenses as special expenses in the tax return. Your tax advisor will be happy to advise you on this!
