To mark Safer Internet Day, pupils at Phorms Berlin Süd joined forces to run an anti-bullying campaign aimed at raising awareness of respectful behavior and mutual support within the school community.

As part of the project, secondary school pupils worked closely with elementary school classes. Together, they talked about what bullying means - both online and in everyday school life - and what children can do if they themselves are affected or observe bullying. Through conversations, interactive activities and student-led sessions, the younger children were encouraged to share their thoughts, ask questions and learn about strategies to seek help.

The focus was on the message that kindness matters, getting help is important and no one has to be left alone with difficult situations. The older pupils took on a mentoring role and created an atmosphere of trust in which sensitive topics could be discussed openly.

The collaboration between the primary and secondary school impressively demonstrated how effective learning from each other can be. Together, the pupils helped to promote a culture of respect, responsibility and digital mindfulness - values that characterize a safe and inclusive school day at Phorms Berlin Süd.

Safer Internet Day made it clear that bullying prevention is a shared responsibility where every voice counts to create a supportive and respectful environment for all.
